Callaway fairway woods are trusted and respected. Many professional golf players choose Callaway woods over other brands due to the outstanding performance that these woods deliver.
The first player we would like to talk about is Phil Mickelson. If you follow golf, you will most likely be familiar with him. Phil is a long standing excellent PGA professional, and he has a Callaway FT Tour 3-wood, which he routinely plays from the fairway onto the green. Callaway FT means Fusion Technology – this particular fairway wood is made of stainless steel and tungsten. The company claims that this combination produces higher MOI and distributes the gravity efficiently. Callaway FT also contains a so called opti-fit system of weights, and players generally customize their FT Tour woods to suit the intricacies of their swing.

I was perusing one of those ‘Golfing for Women’ magazines the other day and started wondering where the women are, who wear the golf attire modeled in women’s golf magazines? I’ve never seen women, professionals included, who would dress in such expensive and outrageous clothing!
It’s easy to spend lots of money fitting yourself out for golf. What with hats, sunglasses, gloves, shirts, shorts, socks, windbreakers and shoes, the costs add up very quickly, even if you do your shopping at the sales. Then add in the cost of clubs, balls, bag, cart and fees and you have to play very often to keep the “CPU” (cost per use) down to an acceptable level.
One glossy advert showed a beautiful model in very short shorts (like that’s allowed on courses!) that cost nearly $300, a golf shirt at almost $600, a jacket by Ralph Lauren at almost $200 and two-toned Utuser shoes costing $400 plus.

As you have to develop a smooth swing and be able to follow through on that swing in golf, all without losing any control of the strength in your swing, your golf shoes can help or hinder your game for you. Nike golf shoes are designed to help you balance, gripping the turf as much as needed yet allowing you to get full power and control behind each and every stroke.

When it comes to buying a golf club set, there are a number of things to learn. The goal is to find a set customized for your own needs. You aren’t going to be playing like Tiger Woods no matter which set you choose, but a club set that feels right will definitely help you enjoy the game more. And if you don’t have the right clubs from the start, it could take months to reprogram your swing.
So, the first thing that you need to look at is what type of shaft you are going to get. Your choices are graphite or steel. This is really a matter of preference as both types can work well as long as when you are buying a golf club set you also take into account the shaft’s flex. This is the single most important part of deciding which clubs to buy. Having the wrong flex on your shaft will cause you to lose distance and you will be all over the place when you are golfing.

Golf Tips For Beginners
Golf is an unexpectedly tough sport. At a casual glance it seems to be just a matter of hitting balls into holes with sticks, even though we must confess there is an attitude of elegance about it. It is much more than that though, and skill is very important in this game. Golfing tips can be easily found, but these tips will seek to offer basic advice. You won’t learn much to help you with adding to the accuracy of your strokes, but you could learn information that is handy to have when you go golfing. A nice unit that can realyy help is the Sonocaddie Golf GPS.
Bring sunglasses and use sunscreen. This game is enjoyed out in the open, often while enjoying the sun. Sunglasses sheild your eyes from sun damage and allow you to see the course clearly in bright conditions, while sunscreen will protect your skin from damage caused by sunlight. Remember to apply sunscreen on your face. A brimmed hat or a visor can protect your face too.

Golf Tips For Beginners
My golf coach, as one of the first things he taught me, gave me the right way to position the ball for a good swing. This might not seem important to non-golfers, but if you play you’ll already know there can be big differences depending where the ball is on the ground.
Standing side-on to the direction you’ll be aiming, there are two main elements to consider. The first is how far away the ball is from you if you drew a line directly away from your eyes (ie perpendicular to the direction of the shot). The second is the distance of the ball on the ground from each foot.
Starting with how far from you the ball should be, you basically want to put it on the ground at the distance of the club head during your swing. So that the natural point of impact of the club with the ground is where the ball should be.

The tee is where every golf hole begins. If you’re having problems getting off the tee, then you’re opening every single hole playing catch up. You might save a bunch of pars with a great putt, but you could well be putting for birdies if your drive had found the fairway.
For nearly all players, being consistent with the driver and hitting long golf drives are far from being impossible. Being consistent from the tee is easier than most players appreciate.
Modern golf equipment means golf balls today get the best distance higher launch angles and a shallower angle of descent. It isn’t about low carrying drives any longer. Long drives come from high piercing trajectories, with most of the distance being carry.
